McMeiken House
Auckland > Birkenhead
Alteration
Private Client
Take a single level 1960's boomerang bungalow and bring it into the 2000s.
By opening up small living areas into a large open plan space with great views to the city and locate the master suite on a new top floor overlooking a new pool area and outlook to the city.
Traditional materials were used due to the site being in a heritage zone and care was taken to design around the scheduled and generally protected trees which cover over a third of the site.
