With this project we intend to bring the 50 year old NZ house into the 21st century and provide a home for a young family with all the comforts expected in today’s lifestyle.
We are in the developed design phase and the owners are taking time to experience the site and all aspects of the neighbourhood prior to finalising details.

This modern style home requires a first floor living ‘retreat’ for the owners to take in the views of Aucklands upper harbour.
We are currently completing Measured drawings and entering the Sketch Design phase.

This modern style home is designed to complement the existing larger home on the rear of the site designed by JGA in 2007.
Views to Rangitoto have again been achieved from the upper floor, and the living areas have a northern aspect to receive all day sun while providing privacy behind the boundary wall to the street.
Materials are to be timber weatherboard wall cladding with exposed stack bonded concrete masonry and a lightweight roofing system consisting of a combination of colorsteel and membrane.
